These are fun to use. Their main advantage is that they are.... clear. You
can see through them to find the correct placement of the stamp for your
project. For someone who has 'missed' a few times - I can see the value of
this. Especially in font setting - stamping words, one letter at a time. It can
be difficult to keep the letters lined up.
These work in the same way as rubber stamps. I find it best to lay them on
their backs, and tap the ink pad onto them - instead of pressing them into
the ink. Then, it is important to press them onto the paper horizontally -
not at an angle. If you press straight down, hold the paper still, and pull
straight up - you'll likely get a great image imprint.
It's easy to clean these - they're plastic, so they don't absorb the ink. Just
rinse off - if the ink is still wet. If the plastic has stained, you could try
some stamp cleaner, dab on, let sit, rinse off.
