Here's a great way to create your text boxes to fit your punches and your templates before you print them out!
Creating Perfectly Sized Text Boxes For
Your Punches and Templates - Page 2

Flip your punch over, fit the image to fit the punch, and press! (Fig 9)

Now, what if we take this one step further?  I don’t know about you, but photos I have developed never have the right sized
image to crop or cut out for my layouts.  I just do the best I can – but what if we can do better than that?  Let’s bring up our
scanned punched-out image template in
Print Shop again.  We’ll make a whole page of cropped photos to fit our punches!
Simply insert your photo (“insert”-“import”- find your photos, mine are in “my documents” – “my pictures”).  Over on the left
tool bar, click on “Photo Tools” – “Crop and Orientation”.  Choose the preset shape that best fits your punch shape, and fit
the cropping space over your photo, click “apply crop”.

Now size the cropped image to fit your
template. (Fig 10) I just made a whole page
by filling in all of the shapes.  You could, of
course, fill in one of the shapes, and then
move the image, and reuse the same
template and fill a page with all the same size
and shape.

Just print and punch – your pictures are
cropped and cut and ready to use! (Fig 11)
