Okay, so why would I make a store brand a whole category?
The answer is that these markers are exactly what I was looking for - who
knew?
Firstly, they have some juicy watercolor markers that are perfect for
rubber stamping and coloring. These are waterproof, fade proof, acid
free, non-bleeding, photo safe, archival quality, and odorless. You can
use your coupons and pick up the set at a reasonable price. The
markers come with a cool storage unit, and 24 markers with dual tips:
brush and fine point.
The other set of markers that Joann commissioned is a set of 12
permanent markers - but with the necessary requirements: waterproof,
light fast, and acid free. I was looking for markers that would really show
up on glossy paper - but would be acid free! These quickly became my
favorites. The colors are bright and bold, and on glossy cardstock they
stand out and look... well.... glossy. There's a time and place for muted
shades that seep into the paper, but sometimes you just want your work
to stand out.
I'll keep my eyes out for more acid free permanent markers (remember
Sharpies aren't acid free). I hear the Slick Writers are..... I'll go see - I'm
sure it won't be long before my next 'supplies' shopping trip.
