This site is founded and operated by Barbara Eastwick. Barbara is a
freelance writer and artist with over 20 years experience in the craft
industry, working for clients on commission and making the "Craft Show
Circuit". Barbara specializes in finding new uses and techniques for the
tools of the craft. She enjoys working with these tools and discovering
their parameters. She, then, takes this information into account and
combines these new techniques into her projects, incorporating many
types of papers and embellishments, and mixing media. This becomes
her "style". She has worked extensively with computer enhanced images
for scrapbooking, card making, and embroidery machine image
designing. Barbara has expertise in marrying the hands-on crafting with
embellishments from the computer and its peripherals.
Barbara has written technique articles for trade magazines, collaborated
with manufacturers on product development and has taught classes for
scrapbook stores. She has founded her own informational web site –

about “The Tools of the Craft”, and "Technique Articles". Also on the
website, for further samples of her work, are photographs and “how-to”
instructions for projects she has designed and created.
