My Dear Friends – I Miss You So Much
The blog challenge is about a time when you had a health scare with one of your pets. This is actually too sad for me to deal with, so I try very hard not to think about it. We had to put both of our beloved dogs down together – the day after this photo was taken. The white dog, Odie, had stomach cancer, and the black dog, Lucky, had a brain tumor. They were absolutely devoted to each other, and we brought them in to the vet together to take their nap. They were both in pain, and both having ‘functioning’ troubles. It would have been inhumane to ask them to stay with us just because we wanted to be with them. Odie was 14 and Lucky was 12, and there isn’t a day I don’t miss them.

Awwww, they are beautiful! You gave them a wonderful gift, to be together forever. I’m sorry it still hurts so much, they leave a big hole in our hearts don’t they….

So sad…but I wish there were more people caring about their pets as you obviously do.
